I got assigned my second Visual Merchandising brief today. Keen on undertaking bigger duties within my role at Topshop/Topman I jumped straight at this opportunity and was straight on board. I was privileged to be asked again to be involved in such an important role. This task was to style 6 busts for Topshop in their current 70s trend. For over the Easter holidays I was specifically asked to aim the styling at the younger Topshop customer. Instantly, I thought crop tops and shorts for this brief and customer but not forgetting to tie in the 70s vibe. I used the trend handbook as another tool to help put the looks together. On this brief I had less time and more work. I felt a lot more confident after being praised for my past work. I was really getting a taste of what it was like being a part of the creative team and I loved it. I take pride in having a responsibility and to show what I have achieved at the end of it.
